Fakhra Younus: Islamic Disfigurement of Women
[Author's Note: I do not do "cut & paste" link posts like this. However, I am very disturbed by this particular story. I honestly don't know how to approach the story of Fakhra Younus with my own words. However, I feel an obligation to get her story "out there" to the best of my ability. The treatment of women under Islamic/Sharia law is reprehensible. This is a horrific situation that needs more light shed on it now and forever!!]
